ACTFL Proficiency Lab: A Good Grammar Lesson is a Good Proficiency-Based Lesson

Sat, 11/21: 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM CST
Session
Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
Room: ACTFL Proficiency Lab, Exhibit Halls 2-3
Grammar and proficiency-based instruction don't have to be two separate ideas. Join us for this session where we will explore how to teach grammar to learners in context to help them acquire language in a meaningful, and student-centered way. Participants will leave with simple, ready-to-implement strategies that demystify grammar to promote communication instead of perfect conjugations. Bring your laptop and be ready to design, build, and walk away with practical materials you can use immediately!
