Participants will explore how rubrics, guided by grading principles that promote growth, empower learners to understand where they are, where they are going, and how to get there. Time will be provided for participants to reflect on current grading practices, their influence on motivation, what they communicate about learner progress, and possible changes to those practices. Bring your laptop and be ready to design, build, and walk away with practical materials you can use immediately!
