Welcome to the #NABJNAHJ20 Call for Racism in America Sessions
As we finalize the plans for our 2020 Virtual Convention & Career Fair this August, and in light of escalating racial tensions, demands for justice, mistreatment of people of color, and journalists, we are reopening the Call for Session Proposals.
We are ONLY accepting proposals from NABJ members ONLY dedicated to this topic. From racial injustice and #ReportingWhileBlack to racist policies, the destruction of businesses, policing, and historical perspectives on oppressed communities, we want to hear your ideas!
Submissions must include proposed panelists and hosts/moderators and include content that will create fruitful dialogue, unveil issues of importance, promote actionable changes, or offer useful training and insight.
We are accepting Racism in America proposals until midnight (PT) on June 14, 2020.
