James Willeford is a New York-based landscape architect focused on the visual representation of urban, landscape, and architectural designs – and owner of Cinescapes, providing documentary motion graphics for landscape and architectural firms. His work includes collaboration with Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates on their winning competition entry for the City+Arch+River in St. Louis. James received his master in landscape architecture from Harvard’s GSD and his undergraduate degree in film from Hampshire College.

I have an interest in landscape and film, having taught Film at Cleveland State University as an Associate Professor of Communication, as an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver, and now at the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at LSU, after serving as the inaugural Bickham Chair.  My ability to use two sets of lenses, has afforded me new ways of approaching landscape, urbanism, race and representation through film.

Evan Mather, ASLA is a filmmaker and landscape architect with Los Angeles-based AHBE where he is leading the development of a series of works focusing on landscape architectural issues. His films have screened at the Sundance Film Festival, featured in The New York Times, and exhibited at the National Building Museum. His 2007 film "So What?" received the 2008 Communications Award of Honor from ASLA. Evan earned a Bachelor in Landscape Architectue from Louisiana State University.
