As Chairman and Principal, Kurt has been instrumental in Design Workshop’s success both nationally and internationally for over 30 years. With a background in landscape architecture, planning and real estate, he has led a diverse range of projects from large scale strategic planning to detailed design of parks and streetscapes. Kurt is a leader in the field of evidence based design and the application of metrics and performance measures to large scale planning projects.

Joseph Healy, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is Managing Principal of WRT, a national practice of urban designers, landscape architects, planners, and architects headquartered in Philadelphia.  Joe leads the strategic direction and operations of the firm.  He is Chairman of DVGBC and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.

Joseph Lalli, President and Managing Principal of EDSA, is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FASLA), which is the most distinguished professional achievements in the field. As Managing Principal of EDSA, Mr. Lalli brings an intuitive understanding for planning and design, as well as a focus on the main issues that need to be addressed to get a project built. He has had principal responsibility for seeing many projects through, from planning to implementation, in a variety of areas such as resource planning, community planning, resorts, educational and cultural facilities, corporate parks and urban developments.

Gerdo Aquino, ASLA, is Managing Principal of the SWA Group, a practice with extensive experience in international and domestic work. Gerdo is an urban designer and landscape architect with broad experience in urban design, community planning and built works. He received his degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Mark Johnson is the founding Principal of Civitas, a practice with national and international experience in urban design and built works. He formerly chaired the Editorial Committee of Landscape Architecture Magazine. He received his degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
